The project is implemented with the support of Terre des Hommes Moldova (Project FACT Transnational Action “Protection of Moldovan children at risk or victims of exploitation and/or trafficking in Russian Federation and Ukraine”.

Project goal: Increase the understanding of the situation of the Moldovan minors with an illegal status in Ukraine and the practices of the state in matters of repatriation with a child right approach.

This is being be done trough:

• Critical analysis of the Ukrainian laws and normative documents dealing with the situation of the minors with an illegal status focusing on heath, education and protection matters.
• Critical analysis of the practices of the Ukrainian state and administration with the repatriation process focusing on the respect of the superior interest of the child.
• Estimation of the number of Moldavian children migrant and unaccompanied Moldavian children identified and protected by the Centers for temporary Placement of minors from Kiev and Harcov between 2007-2010.
• Mapping of Ukrainian regions in which the above mentioned Moldovan children were identified • Determination of the reasons of the arrest of the children (vagabond, begging, steeling, etc.) ; 
• Estimation of the number of Moldovan children, identified in other states besides Ukraine and which passed through Centres for temporary placement of minors from Kiev and Harcov cities.
