Course of training for specialists, conducted lessons for pregnant women and their family members, was finished. Last training “Methods of work in schools of responsible parenthood: training of trainer's skills” from the course was held in Kiev in the end of August.

Training on preparation of specialists for work at “Schools of responsible parenting” was carried out on 27-29 of May in Kiev within the framework of Component 1 of “Mother and child health” Programme. 24 gynaecologists and midwifes, 4 psychologists have completed full course of training, that will enable them to consult and carry out training for pregnant women and their family members at qualitatively new level.

During April-May in the framework of Component 1 of Ukrainian-Swiss Mother and Child Health Programme trainings are held for training specialists from pіlot rayons on providing of consultation services on the issues of mother and child health on the base of client-oriented approach.

Seminar for the Heads of Coordination Committees on mother and child health promotion was carried out on 3-4 of March in Kiev within the framework of Component 1 of “Mother and child health” Programme.
