The Trainers’ Studio of Christian Children’s Fund was set up under the ‘Social Education in Ukraine’ project implemented between 1999-2003. Lecturers of higher educational institutions, practical social welfare specialists, and members of NGOs take part in its activities. They have specialized training and have been granted certificates authorizing them to train others.
Main areas of activities of the specialists of Trainers’ Studio:
- Adaptation of international experience and methodology of social work for practical social welfare professionals in Ukraine;
- Development of methodological materials for trainings on HIV/AIDS prevention, adoption/foster care, promotion of healthy lifestyle, parenting skills, and social support of children in crisis situations.
- Working on mechanisms for teaching social workers methods for conducting trainings;
- Monitoring and evaluation of trainings conducted by social workers in communities.
